Who We Are

The North End Neighborhood Association (NENA) was formed in 2025 by a group of committed residents interested in improving the quality of life for those who live, work, and go to school in the Charles and Wanskuck neighborhoods of Providence, RI. These community leaders met through their association with the DaVinci Center for Community Progress and established NENA as an independent nonprofit organization to serve as a convener, mobilizer, and advocate for the North End.

Vision

Proud North End Community

The purpose of the North End Neighborhood Association is to create a welcoming and vibrant community where families thrive and residents, homeowners, and businesses respect each other. We will achieve this by improving the quality of life for its residents, homeowners and businesses, and by doing so also protecting property values. The Association will provide the means for the people of Charles and Wanskuck to come together to share ideas, build support, confidence and trust.

Collaboration and Partnership

We understand that true progress is achieved through collaboration. We strive to build strong partnerships with local organizations, businesses, government entities, and individuals to create a unified force for positive change in our neighborhood.

Our goal is to work collaboratively to improve living conditions and ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable neighborhood for everyone.
